Additional conditions: iTicket lists the age rating as 0+. QR tickets purchased through iTicket are activated on the day of the visit and purchased tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Physical tickets are also available at city ticket offices.

The reserve was established on 9 September 1966 and covers 4,535 hectares. Azerbaijan's State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage reports more than 7,000 registered rock engravings across over 1,100 rocks in Gobustan. The Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2007. The reserve functions as an open-air museum and research site and is listed by iTicket as multilingual. The current iTicket page dated 1 September 2026 also publishes separate commercial fees: documentary or educational filming — 500 AZN, feature-film filming — 5000 AZN, television filming — 1000 AZN, music-video filming — 5000 AZN, event organisation — 3000 AZN, advertising video filming of monuments — 1000 AZN, advertising photography — 1000 AZN and helicopter filming — 500 AZN. These fees apply to one working day from 09:00 to 18:00 and are not standard visitor admission charges.
