KidsMap is committed to keeping our catalog accurate, useful, and family-friendly. Learn how to add a place, what requirements apply to listings, and how moderation works.

1 Who Can Add a Place

KidsMap uses a single unified user account model. There is no separate "business account" or "owner role" required. Any registered user can submit a place listing for consideration.

The user who creates a listing or verifies management rights via an ownership request receives place-scoped access to update information and manage editing permissions for that specific venue.

2 Allowed Categories & Venues

KidsMap accepts venues and activities geared towards children, teenagers, and families:

  • Sports sections: football, swimming, gymnastics, martial arts, tennis, chess, and more;
  • Education & development: languages, preschool prep, IT & coding, robotics, tutoring;
  • Arts & creativity: drawing, painting, dance studios, music schools, vocal, theater;
  • Leisure & fun: kids entertainment centers, playgrounds, zoos, waterparks, museums, and camps.

Places catering exclusively to adults (18+) or lacking child-focused offerings are not accepted.

3 Prohibited Content & Actions

  • Fictitious, nonexistent, or permanently closed venues;
  • Test content, random strings, or incomplete placeholder submissions;
  • Spam, deceptive keyword stuffing, or advertising unrelated commercial products;
  • Abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, or unlawful content;
  • Private data endangering children (home addresses, private phone numbers).

4 12 Core Readiness Requirements

To be approved and visible in the public catalog, a listing must satisfy 12 readiness requirements verified by our system:

5 Pricing Plans & Tariffs

KidsMap uses a flexible pricing plan system supporting multiple fee structures:

Specific price for a lesson, monthly membership, or course (e.g., 80 AZN/mo).

Base minimum starting rate when multiple programs exist.

unfold_more Price Range

When tuition varies by intensity or group size (e.g., 50 – 120 AZN).

volunteer_activism Free Activities

Public clubs, trial classes, or community activities (0 AZN).

6 Age Limits & Schedule

Age: Specify the actual participant age boundaries (e.g., 4 to 12 years). If the activity welcomes all ages above a minimum, enable "Open-ended upper age".

Schedule: For regular classes, configure days of the week and operating hours. For appointment-based studios, select "By appointment".

7 Address & Map Placement

The address must reflect the physical location clearly, including street, building number, landmarks, and nearby metro station. The map pin should point accurately to the building entrance.

8 Contacts & Social Links

A valid primary phone number is mandatory. In addition, you can provide official Instagram profiles, websites, WhatsApp numbers, and secondary phones.

9 Photo & Image Guidelines

  • The main photo must be sharp and clearly show real facilities, classrooms, or activities;
  • Photos with third-party watermarks or stock placeholders are not allowed;
  • Photos depicting children must only be uploaded with lawful parental consent;
  • Upon copyright or privacy inquiry, disputed photos are promptly removed.

10 Duplicate Listing Policy

Creating multiple listings for the same branch is not permitted. KidsMap cross-references phone numbers, addresses, and coordinates. If a venue already exists, you should request management access instead of submitting a duplicate.

11 Moderation & Publishing Workflow

Submitting a place does not mean automatic publication. Each listing goes through review:

1 Data Submission

User completes all mandatory fields and submits the card.

2 Moderator Review

Data accuracy, categories, and duplicate checks are completed (24–48h).

3 Live Publication

Approved card goes live and becomes discoverable on search & maps.

12 Editing & Place Management

Authorized place managers can update tariffs, schedules, contacts, photos, and reply to reviews at any time through their dashboard. Changes are tracked to ensure reliability.

13 Reporting Outdated Information

If a venue has moved, updated its fees, changed phone numbers, or closed down, users can notify our team via our Contact Page or by emailing info@kidsmap.az with the listing URL.

14 Information Accuracy Disclaimer

Tuition fees, schedules, and enrollment conditions are determined by the organizations and may change over time. Parents are encouraged to verify critical details directly with the venue management prior to attending or paying.
